Eligibility Criteria & Education Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned subject with a minimum of 50% marks (or Post-Graduation with at least 45% marks) from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. Degree (or B.P.Ed. / B.P.E. for Physical Education) from an NCTE-recognized institution.
• TET Qualification: Passed Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for Upper Primary Level (Classes 6 to 8) organized by UP Government or Central Government. Valid TET certificate must be possessed by 30-06-2027.

Age Limit (As on 01/07/2026)

• Minimum Age :  21 Years
• Maximum Age : 62 Years
• Age Relaxation Applicable as per UPESSC TGT Apprentice Recruitment Notification Rules.

Salary / Pay Scale & Benefits

• Pay Level: Pay Level-7
• Pay Scale Band: ₹44,900.00 to ₹1,42,400.00
• Additional Allowances: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and medical benefits as per UP State Government rules.

How to Apply For UPESSC TGT Online Form 2026

1. Go to the UPESSC official website at www.upessc.up.gov.in and complete One Time Registration (OTR).
2. Fill out the online application form in English with personal details, category, and educational qualifications.
3. Upload a scanned passport-size photo (10–100 KB) and signature on a white background (10–100 KB) in JPG/JPEG format.
4. Upload all required mark sheets and caste/category certificates in PDF format (20–200 KB).
5. Pay the requisite application fee online using Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
6. Submit the final application form and print 3 hard copies for future record and document verification.
