Eligibility Criteria & Education Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University in India as on the notification date in any one of the following streams

Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the main subjects.
Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics (with Statistics as a paper in one, two, or all three years)
Bachelor’s Degree with Economics (with Statistics as a paper)
Bachelor’s Degree with Commerce (with Statistics as a paper)
Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Science (with Statistics as a paper)

Minimum Age : 18 Years Maximum Age : 44 Years Age Relaxation Applicable as per APPSC ASO Apprentice Recruitment Notification Rules.
Selection Process for APPSC ASO Vacancy 2026
Written Examination (CBRT): Objective type test comprising Paper-I and Paper-II. Computer Proficiency Test (CPT): Practical test on office automation to qualify for final selection. Document Verification: Verification of original study, community, and educational certificates. Medical Examination: Standard medical fitness evaluation.

Selected candidates for the post of Assistant Statistical Officer in the A.P. Economics & Statistical Subordinate Service will receive a pay scale of Rs. 37,640 – Rs. 1,15,500/- per month alongside official state allowances.
