Eligibility Criteria & Education Qualification

• High School Pass: High School Examination from Board of High School and Intermediate Education, UP, or any government-recognized equivalent examination.
• Diploma Requirement: A 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Board of Technical Education, UP, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the government.
• Special Requirement for UPSRTC Electrician Post: Diploma in Electrical Engineering along with a valid Electrical Supervisor License.
• Mandatory Qualifying Exam: Candidate must possess a valid scorecard for the PET-2025 examination.

• Minimum Age : 18 Years
• Maximum Age : 40 Years

Selection Process for UPSSSC Junior Engineer Electrical Vacancy 2026

• Shortlisting through PET-2025: Screening based on absolute/normalized scores in UPSSSC PET-2025.
• Written Main Examination: Objective type competitive exam.
• Document Verification: Verification of original academic, category, and identity certificates.
• Final Merit List: Final selection based on marks obtained in the written main exam.

1. Visit the official UPSSSC portal and navigate to the “Live Advertisements” segment.
2. Log in using your PET-2025 Registration Number through OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email address.
3. Verify your personal details fetched automatically from your PET-2025 record.
4. Select the posts applied for and enter educational qualification details (Board, passing year, roll/certificate number, issue date).
5. Enter the verification security code, click “Submit”, and note your 11-digit Applicant Registration Number.
6.  Pay the ₹25 online processing fee using Net Banking, UPI, Credit/Debit card, or SBI E-Challan, then download and print the final submitted application form.
