Eligibility Criteria & Education Qualification

• Mandatory Examination Score: Candidates must have appeared in UPSSSC PET-2025 and hold a valid score card. Zero or negative normalized scores render candidates ineligible.
• Educational Qualification:

1. A 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering (or equivalent qualification) from the Board of Technical Education UP or an AICTE-recognized polytechnic/institution.
2. High School (Class 10) or Intermediate (Class 12) qualification pass from a recognized board depending on post requirements.

Age Limit (As on 01/08/2026)

• Minimum Age : 18 Years
• Maximum Age : 40 Years
• Age Relaxation Applicable as per UPSSSC Junior Engineer Mechanical Apprentice Recruitment Notification Rules.

Selection Process for UPSSSC Junior Engineer Mechanical Vacancy 2026

• Shortlisting via PET-2025: Shortlisting for the Main Examination is conducted based on normalized PET-2025 scores (up to 15 times the category-wise advertised vacancies).
• Main Written Examination: Shortlisted candidates must take an objective written test comprising 100 questions.
• Document Verification (DV): Candidates passing the written examination are called for document verification to verify certificates, age, and eligibility.

4. Verify Photo & Signature: Review pre-linked photograph and signature imported from PET-2025 records.
5. Pay Application Fee: Pay the ₹25 online processing fee using Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.
6. Submit & Print Application: Submit the completed form, save the acknowledgment receipt, and take a printout.
