Eligibility Criteria & Education Qualification

• First Class Diploma (minimum 3 years duration) in Mechanical, Electrical/EEE, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or Civil Engineering.

• First Class [suspicious link removed]. with Physics as main and Mathematics & Chemistry as ancillary subjects; or First Class Bachelor of Fine Arts (Photography) / Visual Arts (Cinematography)

• First Class Graduation plus First Class Master’s Degree in Library Science / Library & Information Science.

• First Class Diploma in Nursing (minimum 3 years duration) recognized by State/Central Government and registered with respective State Nursing Council.

• SSLC / SSC / 10th pass + ITI / NTC / NAC in respective trade from NCVT. (Boiler Attendant requires NAC in Boiler Attendant trade + First Class Boiler Attendant Certificate).

• Pass in SSLC / SSC / 10th Std and must meet physical fitness standards and physical efficiency test norms.

• 10th Std pass + 3 years experience as LVD + valid LVD License.

• 10th Std pass + 5 years experience (minimum 3 years as Heavy Vehicle Driver and balance as Light Motor Vehicle) + valid HVD license and Public Service Badge.

• Matriculation / SSLC / SSC or equivalent pass.

Age Limit (As on 09/11/2026)

• Post Codes 07 to 25, 27, 28 & 30: 18 to 35 Years.
• Post Codes 26 (Fireman ‘A’) & 29 (MTS): 18 to 25 Years.
• Age Relaxation Applicable as per ISRO SDSC SHAR Apprentice Recruitment Notification Rules.

Selection Process for ISRO SDSC SHAR Vacancy 2026

• Computer Based Test (CBT) / Written Examination: Conducted across 18 designated examination cities nationwide.
• Skill Test / Trade Test: For Technical Assistant, Scientific Assistant, Library Assistant, Nurse, Technician, Draughtsman, and Driver posts on a Go-No-Go qualifying basis.
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Medical Exam: Mandatory Stage-1 & Stage-2 PET followed by Detailed Medical Examination (DME) specifically for Fireman ‘A’.
• Document Verification: Final document screening of original certificates for shortlisted candidates.

4. Fill in educational qualifications, age details, category information, and select examination city preferences.
