Eligibility Criteria & Education Qualification

• Educational Qualification: Candidates who have passed BE/B.Tech or M.Sc Computer Science in notified engineering streams from a recognized University/Institution. Candidates studying in the final year of engineering can also apply, provided they submit proof of passing with all marksheets by 1st July 2027. Foreign degree holders are not eligible.
• Minimum Physical Standards: Candidates must acquire basic physical fitness standards before joining (e.g., 2.4 km run in 10 mins 30 secs, 40 push-ups, 6 pull-ups, 30 sit-ups)

Age Limit (As on 01/08/2026)

• Age Limit: 20 to 27 years as on 1st July 2027 (candidates born between 01 July 2000 and 30 June 2007, both dates inclusive)

Selection Process for Indian Army TGC Vacancy 2026

• Shortlisting of Applications: Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) shortlists applications based on the cumulative percentage of marks obtained up to the final semester/year against stream-wise cut-offs.
• Allotment of Selection Centre & Dates: Shortlisted candidates log in to select SSB centres and dates on a ‘First Come, First Serve’ basis.
• SSB Interview: 5-day Stage-1 and Stage-2 selection procedure at Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar.
• Medical Examination: Recommended candidates undergo medical evaluation by competent military medical boards.
• Merit List: Prepared stream-wise strictly based on SSB interview marks for allotment of joining letters.

How to Apply For Indian Army TGC Online Form 2026

1. Visit the official website at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
2. Click on ‘Officer Entry Apply/Login’ and select ‘Registration’ (Aadhaar number and Matriculation certificate are mandatory).
3. Under the Dashboard, click on ‘Apply Online’ and choose ‘Apply’ next to Technical Graduate Course (TGC-145).
4. Fill in required details under Personal Information, Communication Details, Educational Details, and Previous SSB Details.
5. Check all entries on the ‘Summary of your information’ page and click ‘Submit’.
6. Take two printouts of the application form with Roll Number 30 minutes after online registrations close on the last day.
